PROMISE MINISTRIES

PROMISE MINISTRIES was founded in 2001 by the call of God on Eric & Debra Dammeyer and their heart for marriages. Eric & Debra had been group leaders for Marriage Ministries International for 5 years. As members of Inner City Church of Minneapolis, they answered the call of the need for an urban-oriented marriage Bible study.

Eric and Debra began writing a course that could be used for church leadership in a variety of important areas. The Promise Bible Study is a scripturally based, ethnically-neutral study which can be used for:

1. An in-depth Bible study for Married couples, for engaged couples or a combination of married and engaged couples.

2. A basic structure for pre-marital spiritual guidance. It can be used by clergy or by lay leadership.

3. As intensive retreat or convention study materials about marriage which can be used as an entire presentation curriculum. Portions can be selected for lecture use or small group or break out sessions.

OUR MISSION We're taking back territory lost to principalities of darkness, by building up marriages. We believe strong marriages make strong families; that strong families make strong churches; that strong churches make strong communities; that strong communities make strong nations; and if all of this is done to the glory of the Lord, He will make a way where there seems to be no way, rivers and highways in the desert.		Promise Bible Study Materials The Promise Bible Study materials are available in kit form. The kit includes: Outline materials for each class member, which includes scripture references. Outline materials for instructors Teachers' manual and aids The materials can be purchased by requsting an order form by email at info@marriageconnection.net. For churches with challenged budgets, application can be made for special permission for the purchase of a single "whole church" copy, with specific permission for copying for class members at functions for that church.
